Cubic Rainbows

This image demonstrates the positioning of a Bryce rainbow and a terrain behind the observer and uses reflective cubes to show their presence.

Cubic

The Hatchery

This image demonstrates the use of the terrain editor to produce strange forms. Two identical symmetrical lattices are slightly angled to each other and grouped with one Positive and one Intersect.

The mother ship here is constructed in Bryce by using the rounded cube in the imported objects preset selection. The rounded cube gives a much more believable ship than using square edged cubes.

Impact

The comet trail uses Lit Rays from the Complex fx materials group. The flying rocks are a volumetric material created with the Blue Spots preset. The tori have a fire material.

Loch Ness

Demonstrates the use of volumetric clouds on a sphere.

Mirror Rock

Two flat top terrains one mirrored reflecting a rainbow behind the observer.

Planetrise

Use of volumetric clouds again on a sphere. Cosmic cloud preset used as the background.

Logo

Shows the quality 3D text which can be produced in Bryce 3D. Produced with several symmetrical lattices. Load each one into the Terrain Editor to examine them.

Rainbow

This image demonstrates that rainbows can be positioned in front of terrains if the terrain is moved far enough back in the scene.

Stonehenge

This image demonstrates another use of the rounded cube preset for more realistic modelling.

Stonehenge

Strange Planet

This image demonstrates the use of a cloud plane to put clouds in front of a planet.

Strange

Structure
